To this day, I am thrilled about my versatile profession, even after thirtythree years of advising clients and planning countless projects.
Sustainability has become most important. Therfore I have added knowledge about the DGNB-System on sustainability and the title as an Eco-Consultant to my work so I can advise privat clients, investors and architects on sustainability for their projects - from the first schematic design to the final handing-over. As a member of the Chamber of Architects and have also become a member of DGNB, German Sustainable Building Council. As an Auditor I certify Green-Buildings.

Sustainability

Modern buildings, interiors, renovations and outdoor facilities are in need of a new quality which ist called: SUSTAINABILITY ! Why? Because the international construction sector contributes significantly to the climate crisis with enormous CO2 emissions, land use, resource consumption and construction and demolition waste. As a trained Eco-consultant and Auditor, I evaluate sustainability concepts according to the recognized criteria of the certification system of the German Society for Sustainable Building (DGNB). The application shows that sustainable buildings “Made in Germany” stand for outstanding quality and are a gift to future generations. This DGNB-certification is recognized worldwide and is available in several languages.

Modern living spaces and work environments are often too reverberant, and have poor speech intelligibility. With roots in music, I listen carefully to the room, and design room acoustic interiors that harmoniously blend into the space by using measurement data and calculations.

Since 2003, I have built nature-conform architecture and interior design. I combine both into my designs: the western ideas of aesthetics and the eastern tradition of Feng Shui. Nature-conform spaces are of high standard in respect of healthy materials and comfort.

Historical Buildings

The preservation and continuous use of historical buildings are of immense importance.
I have a natural interest in architecture in regards to historical construction techniques.

The restoration of a listed building, taking into account today's user requirements, represents a great challenge in planning. I employ years of knowledge, intuition, and cooperation into this process.
